The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences provides educational opportunities in all aspects of medical imaging so you will be prepared to meet the needs of the patient and medical facility you will serve.
Joint Degree Option:
Traditional freshman and transfer students can earn their degree through our partners, Culver-Stockton College (CSC), www.culver.edu and Quincy University (QU), www.quincy.edu to work on pre-requisite courses the freshman year, and begin radiology classes and clinical experience with Blessing-Rieman the sophomore year.
Direct Transfer Option:
Transfer students who have completed the required pre-requisite courses can enter directly into the sophomore year and earn their degree in 3-years.

- Clinical experiences give you opportunities to apply course concepts in clinical settings. Clinical sites include; Blessing Hospital, Blessing Physician Services, Blessing Breast Center, Hannibal Clinic, Hannibal Regional Hospital, Illini Community Hospital, Quincy Medical Group.
- Blessing-Rieman is currently obtaining more clinical sites to serve the increase interest in our program. Students may travel up to 125 miles to various clinical sites.

- Program Mission: The mission of the College's Radiologic Sciences Program is to prepare all students for entering the profession by providing the opportunity and resources to achieve their maximum potential both academically and clinically.

- Goal 1: Students will demonstrate clinical competence.
- Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will practice appropriate radiation safety. 2. Students will select proper technical factors.
- Goal 2: Students will utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will adjust standard procedures for non-routine patients. 2. Students will adjust equipment to yield diagnostic images.
- Goal 3: Students will demonstrate effective communication with patients, peers, and others in the medical profession.
